Beautiful Sholm table lamp model 1034 from the EJ64 series from 1964 designed by Einar Johansen. The base color of the lamp is a dark brown & it has a beautiful subtle blue finish / glazing with a beautiful matte finish on top of the base. The lamp is in very good condition, it will be shipped with new electrical wiring. Dimensions: 34 x 10 x 10 cm. The weight is 1250 grams. Please note: It's made for a E27 light bulb large fitting. Suitable for European continental sockets & grid (220V). This may be different in your country, consult an electrician before installing if you're not sure. A universal adapter may be all you need to use it normally. The Sholm ceramics factory was founded in 1835 in Rnne on the Danish Island of Bornholm. It was closed in 1996. During its existence the Sholm factory produced many iconic & highly collectable pieces. Main designers for Sholm where Noomi Backhausen , Einar Johansen, Maria Philippi , Paul Brandborg, Rigmor Nielsen, Josef Simon, Gerd Hjort Petersen & Per Rehfeldt Most post 1960 pottery from Sholm is stoneware (stentoj in Danish).
