A good morning for many of us starts with a nice cup of coffee or tea & this majestic mug is a wonderful way to ensure that your joy lasts throughout the day. I made this cup on the potter's wheel from a lovely grey stoneware clay before it was fired to 1230c/2246f. The glaze is Northern Lights; it is a layered glaze starting with Tigers Eye Black, then the rim was dipped in Mermaid Tail to create the magical effect.
