I believe that the first drink of the day should be in a beautiful wheel-thrown mug ~ it's a daily ritual which deserves to be enjoyed to the fullest! A uniquely designed ceramic LEFT Handed Mug in a white tin glaze, which shows the freckles from the clay. The handle, which was 'peeled' off the top & attached, fits your left hand perfectly. This beautiful mug was wheel-thrown in a stoneware clay which has deep brown speckles. It has been glazed all over inside & only two thirds of the outside to show off the natural beauty of the stoneware. The base has been sanded smooth, so as not to scratch the surface it is placed upon. Handcrafted with all of the care & attention that you would expect from an artisan. Each mug is wheel-thrown & altered with love in my cosy Wiltshire (UK) studio. Made from rustic flecked stoneware clay & glazed using food safe glazes. Twice fired upto 1200c in my electric kiln. Dishwasher & microwave safe, however to retain its ravishing good looks, I recommend washing by hand! Each mug is unique & one of a kind, made by me, one by one.
