A delightful never used hand embroidered table cloth. I am not sure of its origin as I picked it up from an Antique market here in the UK but I think it dates from the 1960s or 1970s. Made from a super crisp natural coloured linen cotton, it features amazingly detailed hand embroidered floral designs in brown, orange, yellow & green. The edge has been finished off with a large blanket stitch. I do not think its has ever been used nor washed as you can see the blue embroidered outline design under the stitches which generally comes off when washed. The embroidery is extremely beautiful, with tight detailed stitches. in lovely vintage condition, with only a few little storage spots & marks. I just love the detail on this cloth... its so pretty!
