The choice of colours & design of these beautiful fabrics all from the same collection take this quillow out of the ordinary & would certainly enhance any decor. When I make a quillow its not in the traditional way, I prefer to make the quilt & quilt cover Seperatly enabling me to make the quilt larger. Light turquoise, navy, grey, white & variuose shades of blues are used for the centre completing the top with a beautiful large stylized tulip design print for the borders. For the reverse I chose a mottled blue fabric with some "back art" running across the width just to give it a bit of a punch. The separate quilt cover has been made up the same way also including " back art" & has handmade tulip ends on the ties. Both the quilt & quilt cover have a light turquoise binding which has been machined on the front & hand stitched on the back. It has been professionally quilted up on a long arm quilting machine with an all over loop design to complete this one of a kind quillow. The quilt cushion size 28.5 inch square.
