Stunning large hand-crafted decorative vase in solid brass with a very unique design, & some exquisite etchings of foliage, birds, & human figures. It bears no maker's mark, but its features are consistent with middle eastern manufacture, & dates from the early decades of the twentieth century. It is a truly beautiful & collectable item, which would suit a variety of different decors. It remains in good vintage condition overall, with normal signs of wear & use commensurate with age, including some minor dents, causing it to lean slightly to one side. It remains watertight, & structurally sound. It measures approximately H39cm x D22cm, & the opening is D7cm. It weighs around 2300g.
