This is a natural wooden disc Christmas tree decoration. I designed & hand carved softcut lino & used this to hand burnish my robin design onto the wood slice. I used water based ink & the design is burnished onto either both sides, or one side with the phrase 'robins appear when loved ones are near' on the reverse. Hanging twine is attached with a natural wooden bead. Due to the organic nature of wood & the hand printing technique used, each one varies slightly & this adds to their unique rustic charm. These have been sealed & varnished for durability. They are approx 8-9cm in diameter. This forms part of my linocut wooden slice decoration collection.
