Antique Haviland Limoges Single Tea Cup & Saucer Set Pink Sweet Pea Pattern Victorian Shabby Cottage Chic Beautiful antique Victorian era porcelain single tea cup & saucer set. Both pieces are accented with gilding & dainty transfers of small sprays of pink sweet pea blossoms with accents of green against a white background. They would make a fine addition to your antique porcelain collection or use as intended on your dining table. Cup measures 2 tall x 3.5 diameter. Saucer measures 5.25 diameter. Both have the Haviland Limoges marks both over glaze & underglaze, overglaze mark means the decoration was applied at the Haviland factory. This pattern was created to be sold by retailed the Tilden-Thurber Co. dealers of silverware, china & jewelry. Condition is good, with wear to the gilt trim. Remember, this is an antique that has been used for over 100 years. There will be scratches, nicks & wear from usage or manufacturing defects that do not affect the display-ability of the piece. My lighting caused the surface to look yellowed & discolored, the porcelain is actually pure white.
