A well presented & attractive 20th century beech rocking armchair. The beech wood rocking armchair has a spindle back with shaped open arms. The rocking chair has a rattan seat, raised on turned upright supports, with two skid rockers & spindle stretcher supports. A rather pleasing rocking armchair, of good proportions. Item Ref; M-2425 . DIMENSIONS: Height - 107cm / Seat Height - 44cm / Width - 56.5cm / Depth - 79.5cm . CONDITION REPORT: in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches & stains to the backrest, arms & skid rockers (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone & has been fully treated as a precaution. The rocking armchair remains structurally solid & sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a good example. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, & restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
