This is a small sized salt holder for the table or by the cooker. Hand thrown in white earthenware clay & glazed with a rich, orange / red glaze, inside & out, with another golden glaze breaking through. The salt pig is approx. 4 1/2 inches / 11 cm tall. Is also dishwasher safe. It comes with its own wooden scoop, too. The surface glaze of the red salt pig has a slightly 'lava' like texture, so not quite so shiny as the others.
