This is a made to order piece , so the one in the photo has already been sold. When you order yours you can give me a rough idea of shape & size that suits you & your space & I will source it d for you This one is made from live edge boards which are ‘bookmatched’, 2 slices from the same tree & so both sides of the table match in terms of grain & distinctive knots & faults These boards are pretty wide & likely to have various splits/faults & defects. With the use of pigmented epoxy faults & splits become features. Further splitting & movement of the wood is prevented by the use of butterfly inlays or inlay ‘stitches’. Wood is finished with natural tung oil Legs in this photo are tailored to the shape of the table. buffed up & then coated with beeswax.
