Simple design industrial bar stool (aka 'Bertie') made from 20mm steel square section. Welds are left 'proud'. The steel is protected with a coat of natural beeswax which will prevent rusting of the frame. Bertie Oakman's seat top is made from a single piece of 30mm thick English Oak - a striking contrast to the raw steel frame. The wood is protected with oil & wax. Extremely robust & hard wearing -these stools do not break. Take a look at our gallery to see photos of these stools in a more natural setting. The stool height of 750mm is standard.
