A rare opportunity to acquire a set of six vintage Ercol Windsor Model 370 dining chairs in outstanding original condition. These six spindle design chairs are amongst our favourites from the ever-popular Windsor range. They are designed with the wider 16″ seat & extra back support, making them a particularly comfortable & sturdy dining chair, without losing any of the unmistakable Ercol signature style. Featuring the classic curved-wood loop, they are a combination of beech & elm light woods, presented in their original ‘blond’ factory finish. These are vintage pieces that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in excellent condition. We have given them a gentle clean & buff, but have otherwise left their original vintage factory finish well alone. They are stable & solid & we cannot see any repairs. There are some very minor scuffs & marks as you would expect, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of these timeless chairs. The original Ercol blue ‘Made in England’ sticker is still affixed to two of the chair backs, dating them to the 1960s, & they all have the Ercol production stamp on the base. They were acquired by us as a matching set of six & as such we would like to keep them together. One or two of the seat tops carry a little more wear / fading, clearly the most used of the set. One of the chairs has a minor scuff on the hooped back – this is shown in a photo & is particularly noticeable. Please refer to our photos to get an accurate sense of these pieces.
