These tall, arched 'Quaker' chairs are amongst the most elegant of Ercol's extensive dining chair range & are some of their most popular in our experience. They were originally produced from the late 1950s to the mid 1980s. Made from solid elm & beech 'blond' woods with five-spindled backs & a generous seat height, these wider seat models offer much comfort & support. We can arrange fast UK delivery! You can find many more photos of these chairs at originalhomewares.com in the DINING section. These are original, vintage chairs that are 'sold as seen'. They are in very good, used condition. They have been cleaned & a neutral, natural wax polish applied but otherwise their original finish has been left alone as it's in such good order. They carry some minor scuffs & marks as you would expect with vintage dining chairs. They are solid & sturdy with no wobbles or signs of repair. Sadly the Ercol stickers usually affixed to the back of the seats are no longer in place so it's tricky to date them with accuracy but given their condition we would date them to the late 1970s / early 1980s.
