1940's Vintage Cotton Pillowcases With Embroidered Cross Stitched Flowers These 1930's unused cotton pillowcases are skillfully embellished with shades of pink & shades of green hand stitched cross stitch embroidery flowers & leaves. The handwork & thread used is of the highest quality with a high thread count, making for a true skillful work of art. They are reminiscent of a very grand & regal period in linens. Dates from the 1930's when these pillowcases were in great favor with the women of the period. These vintage pillow cases measure 20-1/2 in width & 31-1/2 in length. Flowers measure 3 x 3. Has a machine stitched scalloped adornment above edge. These cases have recently been laundered, & ironed. The condition is excellent with no holes, no stain, or rips & are strong & sturdy, ready for use. These pillow cases will enhance any bedroom settings.
