This delightful miniature porcelain item started life as a scent bottle, now lacking its stopper it makes for a super little bud vase. Produced in England during the early 19th century, circa 1815 this item is of octagonal form with a tapered neck & features the most vibrant hand painted floral sprays. We love the way in which the bright pink roses & purple Auricula have been painted. The neck of the vase features a solid green ground with an alternating pink & white striped pattern. This is a really pretty & unusual piece by a quality maker. The vase will display excellently in any setting, the perfect addition to your Georgian/federal porcelain collection. Measuring: Diameter 3.25 inch (8 cm) by height 3.25 inch (8.5 cm). Condition: Light surface wear to gilded rims, historic firing fault to top rim. Missing its stopper.
