This delightful little creamware cup although based on an earlier 1800 design was produced during the late 19th century, circa 1895 by Wedgwood, England. The hand decorated, light as a feather creamware cup was produced for the retailer James Powell & Sons of the famous Whitefriars Glassworks in London. The base features the impressed 'Wedgwood' mark & the transfer printed Powell & Sons Wedgwood Etruria mark. This is a quality, decorative little piece that is perfect for anyone who collects Wedgwood or anyone who has a passion for English pottery & porcelain. Measuring: Width including handle 2 5/8 inch (7 cm) by height 1 7/8 inch (5 cm). Condition: 3 vertical hairlines to the interior & a small star shape hairline. General crazing to the glaze.
