Antique Coalport Porcelain Floral Yellow Blue Gilt Embossed Cup Circa 1820 This highly decorative porcelain cup was produced by Coalport in England at the beginning of the 19th century, circa 1820. It features extensive gilt decoration, an unusual yellow & cobalt blue ground & highly detailed hand painted floral scenes. The base of the cup is unmarked. Measuring: Diameter with handle 4.5 (11 cm). Diameter without handle 3 5/8 (9.3 cm). Height 2 1/8 (5 cm). This item is in very good display condition however there is a hairline that is visible on both sides, approximately 1 2/8 (3 cm). The hand painted scenes & gilding are in very good condition, they are bright & crisp. This is a fine piece of porcelain produced by one of the best factories.
