Vintage early plastic desk or bedside light, moulded in pale green plastic, a version of eau de nil. It has a four-lobed base on which there is a matchbox holder & small ashtray & the little switch which is pale green too. The curvy stem has a brass ring halfway up & dentil course detail under the lampholder. It is working, has the original light green 2 core flex & new white UK plug fitted. The lampholder has a tall matching shade ring. The lampholder is UK B22 fitting. Shown with a new 10" white satin ''empire' shaped shade, this can be included if required. Material: plastic, metal Origin: Ward Goldstone (Manchester) English plastic design from mid 20th century Size: 10" high 6" wide, 4" deep Condition: excellent, original tall green shade ring, original flex.
