4x2ft VINTAGE DARK RED LEATHER TOP MAHOGANY CAPTAINS DESK in 3 parts Classic, traditional Chesterfield desk from the second half of 20th century. The desk comes with an original dark red leather top with gold tooling, which is in very good condition. All wooden parts are in very good condition too. The desk has been made in the old days craftsmen style with all drawers having dovetail joints. All drawers slide in & out easily as they should, & are very clean inside. All handles are original & are firmly in place. The bottom drawer in the right pedestal is of double height. For transport the desk splits into 3 separate parts (the top + 2 pedestals) so it is not very difficult to take. The desk comes with a beautiful, Chesterfield captains chair, which is in equally beautiful vintage condition. The chair is solid, stable & does not wobble. it swivels 360 degrees, tilts back as it should & has adjustable height.
