White milk glass, slightly translucent at the edges, intricate pressed pattern. We've personally tested this bowl's capacity for personal indulgence, & it passed with flying colors. Or you could turn it upside-down & use it as a candle stand if you prefer. We tried this just for fun, & as you can see, it works. Makes a great gift for somebody who needs to have something nice that's just for them - perhaps that person is visible in your mirror.... (just a thought). Our great-aunt always told us, Don't just keep your good things stored away in a display case. Use them! & then, to prove her point, she'd serve us ice cream with chestnuts preserved in honey in an object just like this one. What can we say, the lady was right (as usual).
