A stoneware colander thrown on my wheel in my garden studio. The bowl has been thrown in a smooth stoneware clay & fired twice in my kiln. The second glaze firing reaches 1240 deg C. My glazes are unique to me & all my pottery is hand glazed. This sometimes produces runs or marks on the glaze where fingers or tongs have been in contact. This is all part of a unique hand made item. This colander has been glazed in a shiny honey glaze. The bowl has been pierced with holes (about 77!) to make it easy to wash fruit & vegetables after harvesting or buying. It has a little handle on one side to make it easier to hold or hang up. It measures 5.5" wide & just over 3" tall. The bowl is microwave, dishwasher & oven proof. Your purchase will come carefully wrapped & packaged securely in a sturdy cardboard box.
