The poem translation is Ureshisa tomoni (Happiness together) egao massugu (straight forward smile face) nonbiri genki (leisurely cheerful) sakuhokoru yume'e (to blossoming dreams) kirameku jinsei (shining life) kokoro akaruku (with bright mind) minawo tsutumi (including everybody) shiawase maneku (inviting happiness). If one takes the six top hiragana characters, this may have been initially addressed to Ueno Sakiko (), an unknown people. It took a lot of time & effort for Tatsuo Mouri to realize this work while thinking of the person who will receive it by drawing carefully. There was no draft to better express the hand painted taste. in addition, since it is drawn in one stroke without a trace, high concentration & tension is required. Tatsuo Mouri biography dates Born in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture in 1955 1973 Graduated from Oita Prefectural College of Arts, Midorigaoka High School, Department of Fine Arts Joined Kokura Izutsuya Department Store Planning Office, Advertising Department in 1973. 1979 Established Mouri Craftsman Studio 1988 Established Sashiu Kogeimura Co., Ltd. 2013 Oita Design Association Chairman inaugurated Tatsuo Mori also collaborated in 2011 with Theo Jansen the famous artist. The content was the production of beach animals using bamboo, which is a local specialty of Oita prefecture.. Theo Jansen is a Dutch artist known for his Beach Animal, a life-like work that walks along the coast, & is a world-renowned artist with the face of a physicist. Tatsuo Mouri, is a direct disciple of Nozomu Iwao, two major schools of bamboo work in Beppu City. I sell it UNFRAMED. Dimensions: 21.5 cm 37 cm ( 8.5 inch 14.5 inch ).
