This is a fantastic modernist Albert Ferlay large pot with handle made in Vallauris between 1950 & 1960. The design combined naturalistic tree trunk design & use of color orange & brown. Albert Ferlay was born in 1907. A tie merchant & industrialist by trade, he turned & devoted himself to very kitsch, funny & burlesque Vallauris ceramics.
