A beautiful set of nested wooden bowls by the Kihachi studio, the oldest producer of wood products in the Yamanaka region of Japan. These are hand turned on an electric wheel, a technique Kihachi's craftsmen have mastered over six generations. Inspired by the nested bowls that the Zen monks use, each of these is light so it can be carried around & fits one inside each other making it an excellent outdoor companion. As well as space saving, the perfect, thin walls make them easy to hold & beautiful on the eye, definitely a set of vessels to cherish. Treated with a urethane coating to protect the wood. Please note: Each bowl is individual & has distinct markings due to grain of the wood & them being a handmade product. Bowl comes in a presentation box.
