A stunning Queen Anne mirror in walnut veneer, with 9 concave drawers, in 3 stepped rows. This is an extremely unusual dressing table mirror. The walnut veneer has a glowing sheen, rich colour & a lovely burr pattern. It has been cleaned & polished ready to place in a setting, where it can take pride of place. The overall condition is very good for its, quite probably around 300 years age. There may have been some earlier repair & restoration, but the piece is sound, sturdy & looks wonderful. There is an elegant shaped, original deep bevelled glass. There are brass finials on the mirror frame & brass tilt mechanisms at the side, & it works well to hold the desired angle. The mirror glass has some fogging commensurate with age, but still very useable. A gorgeous decorative antique.
