This mug is inspired by the porcelain cups that traditionally were used for the classic Swedish Fika. This modern version mug, works great for cappuccino or a regular black coffee. Glazed in a silky matte white that both looks good & feels very nice to the hand, this mug holds approximately 2 dl (7 oz). These item are seconds, which means that there's some kind of defect - it might be the glaze, that I've forgot to put a stamp on it or that the handle is a little small etc. If you want to know the specific defect on my current seconds, please reach out to me! Saucer is not included but can be purchased in the Nordic Pottery shop! Each piece is handmade in the Nordic Pottery studio in the south of Sweden. First, it is thrown on the potter's wheel & then trimmed after a couple of days. After that, it is fired in a bisque firing, glazed & then once again fired in the kiln. This process takes about 3 weeks & is made with attention to detail & a love for good craftsmanship.
