This is an original antique map from a Mitchell atlas published in 1888, not a reproduction or modern copy. Cartographer: S. Augustus Mitchell Publisher: WM. M. Bradley & Bro, Philadelphia The Mitchell company was a well known American map publishers working in the mid-late 19th Century & was one of the first to try out the technique of steel engraving maps. Condition: This map is in excellent condition for its age & the colours have been well preserved. Some of our maps have markings, discolouration or tears but this will always be made clear in the listing photos so please examine carefully before making a purchase & get in touch if you have any questions about condition. Measurements of the map are approximately 12 x 15 inches including the white surrounding border. This map is double-sided, see listing photos for reverse image.
