This is a stunning example of an antique hand painted solid oak Jacobean Style Edwardian dresser carefully refurbished in my workshop here at Nicky Turner Creations. THIS PIECE has now been SOLD But a similar piece can be SOURCED FOR YOU, RESTORED & RE-STYLED in ANY WAY TO SUITE YOUR HOME. This piece started with a very dark oak finish. Nicky Turner Creations chemically stripped the dresser to reveal the stunning oak grain beneath. The top was kept with a natural finish but was given a grey wash & then a natural wax to lighten the wood. The effect was beautiful! The remainder of the piece was lightly sanded, primed & then lovingly painted with 2 coats of Annie Sloan Paris Grey. Clear & dark waxes were further used to enhance the fabulous detail on the doors, & bring out the amazing depth of colour. All the handles were original, & finished the piece beautifully.
