Description
This wood fired vase is truly unique & one-of-a-kind. Hand thrown on a potter's wheel in a traditional fashion by Lynn Isaacson of New Prospect Pottery, the vase was made with a high fire stoneware (ceramic). It was glazed inside only & then fired in my anagama-style wood kiln, here at New Prospect Pottery. The stunning coloration on the outside comes from the clay, glaze, fire, ash & atmosphere developed during the multi-day firing cycle & the cool down period.
