An incredibly decorative coffee table with a walnut top inlaid with a striking star pattern in a profusion of timbers. Tripod base with shaped legs supporting a bold, turned column, all augmented by inlaid banding. Offered in 'as found' condition. Solid & sturdy, but a split to edge of top & some veneer lifting & some lost to frieze. Inlay top top complete & in good order. Produced in Sorrento, Italy around 1880.
