A substantial & appealing Victorian mahogany breakfront open bookcase with two cupboards & a central set of five drawers below (three large & two small). There is a beautiful grain to the wood visible in particular in the drawer fronts & the bookcase pillars. The shelf heights are adjustable & the top section of the piece is removable from the lower storage section. For the larger room, this is a good addition to any library, study or living area, providing both shelving & storage under. There are no keys for the locks & the lock for the top large drawer is missing. Other age related wear in the form of scratches & small chips to the wood are visible as shown. The piece is in overall in good & solid condition. Originates from the UK. Dates as circa 1845. Made from Mahogany.
