This is such a great Turkish Antique Pot. It was used for storage of olive oil. This pot look so lovely & I just love the shape & colour. Very popular for interior magazines shots. These are really rare to find these days , as you can see there are some finger prints & red glaze/ paint running down on one side of the pot. This colour is very popular, it is very easy to mix with other home items & colour scheme. The pot is partly glazed inside & out. Very heavy & strong. It could be used as vase for flowers, plant pot,kitchen utensil pot, centre piece, storage. There are some age marks & imperfections but this just add to the character.
