This large ottoman tray is 24 x 24 with a solid wood top with cast iron handles made from reclaimed barnwood & finished to a dark brown wear highlight finish. Customization is offered. This uniquely crafted serving tray combines function & beauty into one package. From an aesthetic perspective - the piece has been styled & finished in a way to refine the original coarse raw materials & to illustrate the natural beauty of the wood. This serving tray is very sturdy, with solid cast iron handles on either side & a large tray area at 24 x 24 outside dimensions ... almost like having your own portable coffee table. This piece will make a fantastic addition to your home decor. Picture this piece in your living room on the ottoman or as a decorative centerpiece to a large dining table. This serving tray is constructed of 1 thick reclaimed wood that has been finished with a hand-rubbed paste wax on top of a protective wood sealer. The finish is a dark brown that is slightly to the reddish side. The surface of the wood has been finished to a smooth silky touch - no splinters. The bottom of the tray is a smooth hardboard that won't catch on or scratch surfaces. The piece ships fully assembled.
