A lovely vintage book page from a rare illustrated book called the Instructive Picture book by Adam White from 1859. The lithographs are hand coloured. This book was in complete disrepair so I have saved the beautiful plates, so that they can be enjoyed for many years to come. The second image is of the description of the book plate from the book. This is a vintage page it is not a modern copy & shows signs of age. These pages have brown discolouration & may have various marks and/or creases. Corners may be folded & edges may be worn. not all edges of the page are shown in the scan as the book plate is slightly larger than A4. These pages are well marked but this just adds to the extraordinary vintage look of the pages. Also once framed corners & edges of the page will not be seen.
