You can never go wrong with oak. Everyone has their opinions but one thing I've learned is each & every tree is unique. This one has wonderful grains. Simplicity is key here in a simple design. What a great way to serve just about anything to the dinner table. Make it the centerpiece & use your imagination with flowers or fruit in the spring. Chips or snacks when friend are over. Or I just love a nice wooden bowl in the bathroom with rolled wash cloths in it. Cute, cute, cute! & lets not forget what an amazingly unique gift for most any occasion. Measurements : 11 1/4 across the top 3 3/4 tall All of our pieces have the type of wood written on the bottom as well as my or pops signature. Each piece can take anywhere from 3 months to more than a year to make. Care: A minimal amount of care is needed to ensure it's preservation. It is however HAND WASH ONLY. Dishwashers get too hot & it WILL break. It is not microwave safe. All items are finished food safe. Care & instruction are sent with purchase. Red sauces are not recommended!
