The hand-painted roses on this vintage Bristol Glass vase are spectacular. This is my second near identical vase that I found like this. The shape & colors are sublime. This vase has a bright white milky background with hand painted pink & grey/lavender roses with green leaves. This vase also has gold trim around top & pink lustre in the middle & bottom with gold stars. The trim & stars on top are faded a bit due to age of glass - where the vase was handled. The gold band at the top is actually quite intact. The overall condition is very, very good. Imagine this on your mantel filled with silk roses! Over 100 years old & still beautiful! If you are a decorator or designer, consider vintage rather than the Merchandise Mart!
