This colorful, 7 x 7 wall art was created using a vintage woven pot holder, a vintage crocheted doily, & a repurposed wood frame. I bet you made one of these pot holders when you were little. I know I made hundreds of them! The bright citrus colors just caught my eye when I saw this one in the thrift store, so I brought it home. I view them as woven art potential, & over time I designed this piece, matching it up with a vintage, hot pink crocheted doily, & a vintage flower trim. I love the color combination. I used a repurposed wood frame that has yellow or orange undertones, which complement the bright colors of the pot holder & doily. It is double matted in off white, & dark green. This frame has non glare glass, & is in nice condition. It measures 7 x 7 , has a saw tooth hanger, & is backed with cardboard.
