A SINGLE individual portion sized White French vintage oyster plates, with a central space for the lemon slices. Made by the famous Faience designers GIEN & marked on the underside, with the maker's mark, dating from the 1960's. I also have the larger sized matching serving platter, available in a separate listing. This is the single serving size, why not have a pair, great for a romantic soirée à deux! I currently have 23 available. (shipping for 2 is the same as for one). Definitely a piece from a bygone era, a classic piece of vintage French design from the 1960's, in the most beautiful off white shiny porcelain, the essence of French retro chic. The plate is subtle in it's coloring & varies slightly due to the glazing processes involved. The centre has an area decorated for half lemons. Stunning condition, vibrant & shiny, in fantastic condition throughout for it's age, it look virtually unused, no nibbles, stains or chips at all, although there is some crazing in the glaze. Even the base on the underside is still shiny. A rare find. Sourced locally from a Brocante in Bordeaux.
