SIZE: 35cm wide x 37cm tall approximately (13.5 x 14.5 x 3.5) strap: 55cm (21.5) CORK Cork is an amazing eco friendly product extracted from the evergreen cork oak trees (Quercus Suber) that grow in Mediterranean countries, especially in Portugal. When a cork oak reaches 25 years old, a 2.5 cm thick layer of cork bark is extracted without damaging the tree or its ecosystem. After sterilisation, cork bark is pressed flat into thin sheets that are then laminated onto a textile backing support. Cork is light, durable, water-resistant, wear-resistant, recyclable & biodegradable; has a lovely soft smooth texture & an amazing rustic look. HARRIS TWEED The famous Harris Tweed is a beautiful & intricate cloth made from 100% pure new wool, dyed, spun & woven by hand without the aid of automation or electricity by the skilled & experienced islanders at their homes, in the stunning Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Harris Tweed is water & wear & tear resistant & cleans easily. It is a truly ecologically sound textile, with low-impact VOC (volatile organic compound) absorbent production process, non-allergenic & biodegradable.
