This is a wonderful chalkware Apple & fruit string holder - Wall Decor This is part of an local estate sale of a large collection of string holders. This chalkware apple & fruit held a ball of string that hung on a wall for easy dispensing. Like most Chalkware items there is a paint loss but please look through the pictures to see the amount of loss. Back of piece was left unfinished & shows wear. There is no loop to hang it from but there is a hole near the top area that can be used to hang it. But of course you may want to add a new hook. The piece measures 8 1/2 x 6 1/4.
