This ceramic brown bird held a ball of string that hung on a wall for easy dispensing. The glazed brown bird dispenses the string from his beck & can hold a pair a scissors in his tail. The bird still has the original maker tag - Arthur Woods. The back says Made in England. The piece measures 5 1/2 x 3-1/2. Most likely the piece comes from the 1960.
