This circa 1920 Antique Khotan Oriental rug from Turkestan measures 6'6 x 12'10 ( 201 x 406 cm). It has two large diamond medallions on a very pale blue ground. The diamonds have a kaleidoscopic effect starting small & expanding into ever larger designs just like a kaleidoscope. The corners are worked in a pomegranate motif encompassed with five totally different borders. I really do not have the language to describe these borders. Take a look at the images. The rug is full pile. The ends & sides are complete. The rug is clean & ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $100.
