Boujad rugs are woven at the edge of the Middle Atlas mountains, & made of naturel virgin wool, often decorated with colored materials such as vegetable. These rugs tend to feature different colors... with irregular geometric patterns & designs that reflect the whim of the weaver. Boujad rugs are a really wonderful piece of 'folk' art that tell a tale of the lives for the women who make them. Made from100% Wool. Very low pile with some missing piles. in good vintage conditions. The rug is clean. Please be aware that this rug is very vintage, It have previously be use, so It may show some signs of use.
