If you need to wash the pillow cover, we recommend turning it inside out & washing on the delicate cycle, lay flat to dry. We make every effort for consistency in the studio, we strive to make each cover the same. However, each cover is handmade & small variations may occur in regards to ink & placement. Pillow covers are slightly smaller than the size listed to make sure you have a snug, tight fit once the insert is put in. No one likes a flat, saggy pillow. Again, inserts are NOT included in the listing. The listing is for ONE pillow cover. You are purchase inserts online or from any local craft store. You can also fill the pillow cover with polyfill. in our house, we keep a set of inserts for our holiday pillow covers & change them out with the decor.
