Description
A Strombergshyttan extra thick glass vase with a Viking ship etched into the front. The super thick glass gives the etched ship so much dimension, helping it to really pop. High-quality mid-century Scandinavian glass, I believe from the early 1970s. Strombershyttan was sold to Orrefors in the mid-70s before eventually closing shop in 1979. CONDITION there are some scratches, especially on the base. The inside rim has a small chip which can be seen in the listing photos. This vase is signed on the bottom - it is a bit hard to make out other than Strombergshyttan, but other vases of a similar style have been attributed to Anders Solfors or Lars Wigell.
