This piece is a beautifully designed & crafted extending teak dining table designed by John Herbert for Younger & retailed through Heals of London, circa 60's. Designed as part of their award winning 'Fonseca' range, this table was produced in relatively low numbers so rarely comes to market. Featuring solid teak tapered legs with a stunning teak veneered top, that has a wonderful grain & flaming. The table extends through a flawless & stylish design of pulling each end out & inserting the extension leaves which are cleverly stored underneath. Once fully extended the table can comfortably seat eight to ten people. Condition: in fantastic vintage condition.
