Classic oak stool with tapering legs & interwoven leather strap seat. Although unmarked & slightly taller than usual, it is a well-known Arts & Crafts design by Arthur Simpson of Kendal. English, early 20th century. Still serviceable as a stool although the leather has stretched from use.
