This is 'Bertie', a beautiful shaped whale made from recycled & repurposed timber. This whale is handmade & finished in acrylic paint with shades of blue & white. The distressed wood finish highlights the surface texture & warmth of the timber, giving a vintage & aged look. Evoking the feel & texture of weathered drift wood, this unique piece of wall art will add a real point of focus in any home. A perfect addition to your room, above a door or over the fireplace, whether in the kitchen, bedroom, den, man cave or office. It is approximately 26 1/2 inches wide & 8 1/2 inches high & 1 1/2 inches thick. There is a keyhole hanging bracket on the back so that it can be hung from a single screw. This listing shows the design, colour & size of the whale you will receive, but as each whale is a one off & recreated for you from a separate piece of repurposed timber, the grain & other markings will of course vary slightly providing you with a truly unique item. in this listing I have also included a group photo showing other whales in my collection that I think could sit really well together, either as a pair or group given the right space. The other whales in the group photo can be found in my shop. I also have other whales in different colours to suit differing tastes or rooms.
