The designs are whimsical representations of skulls, meant to celebrate the holiday, Day of the Dead. Some of the designs are part of a series that Mix is in the process of creating, called Calavera Loteria, his own version of the traditional Mexican Bingo game, Loteria. These images are the first in the series, which will number 52 when it's finished. This classic shape white, durable ceramic mug comes in 2 sizes. The original image is an acrylic on canvas painting, however this finished version we used has been digitally modified & vectorized by the artist to create a sharper, cleaner line.
